The Top 14 Qualities of a Conscious Leader:

I have been studying people for many years now and these are only a few of the things I have been picking up and modelling from the people in my life who I see as conscious leaders...  

To me a conscious leader is someone who...

1. Creates safe space for learning, growing and changing. 
2. Always, always, always, always ..... AWLAYS asks questions. 
3. Listens and repeats back key words... so that others feel heard.
4. Edifies and acknowledges their partners and teams regularly.
5. Makes it a regular practise to lift people up ... pour greatness into others without conditions or strings attached.
6. Doesn't complain to clients, teams, staff  ... uses their leaders and mentors to deal with problems and concerns.
7. Is flexible and open, yet solid.
8. Is compassionate: considers how others might react and takes great care in giving "add-vice"
9. Is heart-centred, socially conscious and never pre-judges others (for example, on what they can or cannot afford, social status, gender etc.)
10. Is consciously growing: always learning and improving themselves
11. Fails forward ... not attached to the outcome... learns from mistakes and starts again fresh. 
12. Shows their vulnerability and they aren't "perfect"
13. Creates time for self, to relax and recharge.
14. Is authentic: is a good example and lives what they teach.
