Natural Bathtub & Sink Magic: Tam's Tub Scrub

INGREDIENTS / SUPPLIES

• Large mixing bowl
• Mixing spoon / wooden spoon
• Plastic container or Tupperware (something easy to open and bathroom-safe)
• 500 grams baking soda
• 1–2 tablespoons of Dr. Bronner’s or pure liquid *Castile soap (I love the almond scent, but plain works best if you have allergies).  
• 1/4 cup vinegar (adjust as needed for a thick, spreadable consistency—think cake frosting!)
• (Optional) 5–10 drops of natural/organic essential oil—peppermint or orange are my favourites, but feel free to get creative! 

DIRECTIONS

1. Pour the baking soda into a large bowl.
2. Stir in 1–2 tablespoons of liquid Castile soap. This concentrated soap makes the mixture smooth and silky...
3. Slowly add about ½ cup of vinegar—it will fizz up, so go slow! Start with less and gradually increase until you reach a thick, cake frosting-like texture. If it gets too runny, just add a bit more baking soda. 
4. Transfer the mixture into a plastic container or Tupperware for easy storage. 

HOW TO USE

• Apply the mixture to your tub using your hand, a cloth, or a scrub brush.
• Let it sit for 3–5 minutes, then wipe it off with a damp cloth and water.
• Works wonders on bathroom sinks and toilets too!
• Make sure to rinse completely so that it's not slippery.
